Last week I had the honour of being asked to photograph the Shirei Chagigah.
For those of you who have not heard of it, its the new name for the Movement for Reform Judaism’s biennial music conference. Translated, its ‘songs of celebration’.
It was put together by the amazing Cantor Zöe Jacobs from Finchley Reform Synagogue and included Cantor Benjie-Ellen Schiller, Noah Aronson, Merri Arian, Rabbi Noam Katz and of course Cantor Zöe Jacobs.
They were also joined by the energetic and fun filled RSY-Netzer song leaders.
It was held at both Finchley reform Synagogue and at Alyth and attended by over 120 participants.
